On April 4, 2023, CLOMA was officially accredited an observer to the governing body of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
That makes possible to participate in international conferences held by UNEP and to submit written statements.
According to the UNEP registration list, CLOMA is the 7th Japanese organization to be accredited.

　Through participation in Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution (INC),
CLOMA aims to contribute to the reduction of marine plastic litter with our target of 100% recycle of plastic products such as containers and packaging by 2050.
