Collaboration Outcomes

Under the Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) led by the Cabinet Office, NEC developed a prototype of the Plastic Information Distribution Platform, which manages the life cycles of materials such as plastics and can be used in Japan and overseas, as part of the research project “Construction of a Circular Economy System.” NEC began demonstration testing in April 2024 jointly with TORAY and AMITA HOLDINGS, which are also participating in the research project.
