Collaboration Outcomes

GIFU PLASTIC INDUSTRY and TOPPAN jointly developed diaper collection boxes made with TECCELL containing recycled material from used disposable diapers. TOPPAN installed the boxes at 11 locations, including rest areas and restrooms, at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and conducted a recycling demonstration. TOPPAN separated collected used disposable diapers into pulp and plastic at a recycling facility. The recycled plastic was then incorporated into TECCELL and processed into diaper collection boxes.
