Collaboration Outcomes

Coca-Cola Japan, in collaboration with Toyo Seikan, adopted high-stretch molding and bottom-lightweighting technology. By using a specially designed preform and optimizing molding conditions, the companies achieved lightweighting primarily at the bottom of the container and received an award in the Improvement & Rationalization Category at the 48th Kinoshita Prize Awards organized by the Japan Packaging Institute.
